Westworld Game Will be Removed from Google Play and the App Store
Bethesda has accused Warner Bros. and Behavior Interactive in stealing the source of Fallout Shelter, based on which the recently released game Westworld was allegedly created.
Representatives of Bethesda sued and demand to prohibit the distribution of Westworld on Google Play and the App Store.
The development of Fallout Shelter by order of Bethesda studio Behavior Interactive and Affen Spiele probably decided to use the finished code for the project with a similar plot. And if with partial borrowing of ideas Bethesda could accept, then almost complete cloning of graphics and game mechanics was clearly excessive.
The fact that Westworld is an all-inclusive version of Fallout Shelter, Bethesda has no doubt. The company found in one of the technical messages of someone else's game an explicit reference to their project:
"This issue appeared in the original version of Fallout Shelter, but was considered before the release of the public version of Fallout Shelter"
Source code Fallout Shelter and all rights to use this game belongs to Bethesda, and the company Warner Bros.. was in a difficult situation. Probably, she will have to remove Westworld from the application stores, because of which her reputation will suffer and the flawless legend that has developed around the series "Westworld" will collapse.
